Another over 60 dating tip for you. It’s always strange to write this stuff for mature people (I am one myself) but it never ceases to amaze me how age is no barrier to idiocy. In fact age is often used as an excuse for bad decisions, lack of planning or worse, not trying. The cry “take me as I am” is often used as code for turning up at a first date dressed looking bunch of spuds with unkempt hair and scruffy nails. Just because a man is middle aged does not mean he has decided to look for a woman in an old frock, dirty boots, no makeup and her hair tied back because it’s too much trouble to wash it. True the body grows old but the senses stay young and men will always be men for good or for worse. So do yourself a favour on a first date and blow his socks off. It never hurts to make a good first impression and you never get a second chance to do so.
